"I've been following 'alternative media' for about a year now as well as traditional mainstream media, mostly taking a back seat, keeping an eye on peoples opinions, comments, and predictions.

You soon learn how to look past the mainstream media. Almost every statement is spun or in many cases completely false. I began to feel slightly embarassed that I had lived so many years of my life believing stories without question.

Alternative media is totally different. Often based on rumours and anonymous sources it cannot always be taken as truth, but Alex Jones for example, tells you this directly and asks you to research it for yourself and make up your own opinion. The whole philosophy of alternative media is based purely on truth, with people's welfare in mind, exposing corruption of powerful people which mainstream media wouldn't dare touch. The opposite to Murdochs papers for example, being based on propaganda with silly politically motivated agendas, doing no good at all for mr average reading the tabloids.

Unfortunately, so many still can't bring themselves to this realisation, avoiding any discussion as 'conspiracy'. Simply casting it off, knowing nothing about it, not wanting to know anything about it. You people have to realise that even the Guardian avoids the 'most important' facts to avoid the wrath of the elite."

Top US government insider Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik, a man who held numerous different influential positions under three different Presidents and still works with the Defense Department, shockingly told The Alex Jones Show yesterday that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001 and that he was prepared to testify in front of a grand jury how a top general told him directly that 9/11 was a false flag inside job.
Pieczenik cannot be dismissed as a “conspiracy theorist”. He served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under three different administrations, Nixon, Ford and Carter, while also working under Reagan and Bush senior, and still works as a consultant for the Department of Defense. A former US Navy Captain, Pieczenik achieved two prestigious Harry C. Solomon Awards at the Harvard Medical School as he simultaneously completed a PhD at MIT.
Recruited by Lawrence Eagleburger as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Management, Pieczenik went on to develop, “the basic tenets for psychological warfare, counter terrorism, strategy and tactics for transcultural negotiations for the US State Department, military and intelligence communities and other agencies of the US Government,” while also developing foundational strategies for hostage rescue that were later employed around the world.
Pieczenik also served as a senior policy planner under Secretaries Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, George Schultz and James Baker and worked on George W. Bush’s election campaign against Al Gore. His record underscores the fact that he is one of the most deeply connected men in intelligence circles over the past three decades plus.
The character of Jack Ryan, who appears in many Tom Clancy novels and was also played by Harrison Ford in the popular 1992 movie Patriot Games, is also based on Steve Pieczenik.
Back in April 2002, over nine years ago, Pieczenik told the Alex Jones Show that Bin Laden had already been “dead for months,” and that the government was waiting for the most politically expedient time to roll out his corpse. Pieczenik would be in a position to know, having personally met Bin Laden and worked with him during the proxy war against the Soviets in Afghanistan back in the early 80′s.
Pieczenik said that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001, “Not because special forces had killed him, but because as a physician I had known that the CIA physicians had treated him and it was on the intelligence roster that he had marfan syndrome,” adding that the US government knew Bin Laden was dead before they invaded Afghanistan.
Marfan syndrome is a degenerative genetic disease for which there is no permanent cure. The illness severely shortens the life span of the sufferer.
“He died of marfan syndrome, Bush junior knew about it, the intelligence community knew about it,” said Pieczenik, noting how CIA physicians had visited Bin Laden in July 2001 at the American Hospital in Dubai.
“He was already very sick from marfan syndrome and he was already dying, so nobody had to kill him,” added Pieczenik, stating that Bin Laden died shortly after 9/11 in his Tora Bora cave complex.

The phrase is from a Guardian article today, the day of the student protest against the tripling of tuition fees, and the coalition vote (probably) in favour. Two issues, 1. is that politicians always change once they have power, and ditch many of their ideals. The question needing to be asked is what is the cause of this? And 2. Everything is becoming consumer driven, the NHS and education are now also rapidly moving in this direction. The writer highlights 'the idea that human progress is now and for ever linked to free markets and corporate interests'. This is profoundly and depressingly wrong, and as a society we are already paying a high price for it. Things will get worse unless we turn back to God. Maybe a glib thing to say, but not something to expand on in this post...

The 9/11–Ahmedinejad row was very revealing, with Obama predictably showing outrage, although he knows full well the widely held conviction now in America that there is something distinctly fishy about the whole thing; even some of the 9/11 commissioners have admitted their account was a whitewash.

If the Irish, having voted no to the Lisbon treaty last year, vote yes to the same thing on October 2nd, we lose the last chance to have a say on what Europe does. Then it's goodbye to democracy in Europe, according to Declan Ganley, leader of the No vote campaign in Ireland:

The Lisbon Treaty, like the EU Constitution would have, puts this idea of post-democracy into practice in a number of concrete ways. The most striking is Article 48, universally known by its French nickname, the passerelle clause. It says that "with just intergovernmental agreement, with no need of going back to the citizens anywhere, they can make any change to this constitutional document, adding any new powers, without having to revisit an electorate anywhere," Mr. Ganley explains. "Do you think they want to revisit an electorate anywhere? Of course they don't." If the Irish vote yes, in other words, Oct. 2 would mark the last time that Brussels would ever have to bother giving voters a say on what the EU does and how it does it. Ireland would have, in effect, voted away the last vestige of European direct democracy not just for itself, but for the entire continent.

Reinvestigate 911 Breaks into Parliament
In a breakthrough for campaigners, a meeting has been held in the new Parliamentary extension Portcullis House at which speakers challenged the official story of the 9/11 attacks. This was the first time since the attacks nearly eight years ago that MPs and Peers heard - on their own premises - the widespread view outside it: that 9/11 might have been an inside job.

A followup meeting is pencilled in for November 2. Reinvestigate 911 is calling for members of the public to alert their MPs to this.

A previous meeting was abandoned after the MP who had booked the room cancelled at short notice, after apparently being pressured. One UK based intelligence expert and 9/11 sceptic who frequently addresses academic audiences described the meeting as a breakthrough.

Only a few MPs and Peers attended the meeting in person, but others sent assistants, gave support for future meetings or asked for a report of the meeting. This includes well known and senior figures, but to protect politicians from the predictable attacks and smears from those who support the official 9/11 story, organisers are not releasing names at this stage.

November 2 is pencilled in for a followup meeting, with foreign politicians and experts expected to attend. In the runup to that meeting Reinvestigate 911 will be exploring with sympathetic MPs and Peers various plans for raising Parliamentary and media interest in discovering the full story behind the 9/11 attacks.

Four years ago now my attention was drawn by an advert in the Guardian to the possibility that 9/11 as an event was not all it seemed. There were questions raised about the whole thing which, when pursued logically and with extensive enough research, brought me to some very alarming conclusions. At the same time I came across the phrase "the rabbit hole" which referred to a journey which, once begun, tends to lead you deeper into a perception of the truth about the world we now live in, and which you cannot realistically escape from because, like an investigation into a crime, it keeps unearthing new facts which when the dots are joined lead to some obvious conclusions. This is not something which can be described in a conversation, or even in one article on a blog. As a christian, I am keenly aware that human nature is flawed, that mankind has rebelled against God, and so I have known for many years that the world is not as God wants it. Also that the most effective way to work against this is to spread the Kingdom of God in such a way that people's hearts are changed. This is my first priority.
However it is also useful to know the nature of your enemy and what methods he is using to destroy the work of the Kingdom. God desires that we work for truth and justice and for the good of our community, and He does not expect us to turn a blind eye to those things which we can do something about. It has become obvious to many of us recently that the governments under whom we live and work, and the media through whom we receive our understanding of the world, and the banks through whom we are able to conduct the business necessary for survival in the western world are not at all what they seem. They are all under the control of a higher strata of a limited number of what I can only describe as psychopaths who are committed to bringing the world under the control of a single government and a single bank, which is ostensibly benevolent and will be portrayed as such until it is too late. I have wrestled with this possible reality for a long time now in the hope that I might be proved wrong and that I really am one of the "tin hatted conspiracy theorists" who the press use as whipping boys for anyone who suggests the world is not as we are required to believe. Or maybe that actually I am quite sane and it's the general herd who are hopelessly blind to the truth.
Now obviously things are extremely complex and the strands very difficult to bring together in order to get a sensible perspective on all this, but I am exhaustedly concluding at this point in time that I am not mad or obsessed but simply blessed with a level of discernment and intuition which is not at all enjoyable or entertaining. Also possessed of a brain and an ability to ferret through all the information (which let’s face it is only there due to the internet) and divide fact from fantasy. I will not therefore bury my head in the sand and pretend that everything is going to be alright really, and go back to the latest episode of Desperate Housewives, because my conscience will not allow me that luxury.
The immediate reality at the moment for someone living in England is the EU, which is clearly a step on the way to a world government, as part of a New World Order that will include a North American Union (already underway), a South Asian Union and an African Union (google them). The final steps to this will include a yes vote in Ireland this autumn, overturning their decisive no vote of 2008, and ratifying the Lisbon Treaty. This removes the last vestiges of our sovereignty and contributes to the gradual eradication of nationhood. The economic collapse has already provided the excuse for a world bank, and the latest flu outbreak the road to an expanded role for the W.H.O. All against the background rumble of war and terror in various places.

The interesting biblical background for all this is the tower of Babel, where God, due to man's overweening ambition and desire to be bigger and more powerful than his creator, said:
"If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other." Genesis 11:6-7
And so the people were scattered across the earth and were divided into many nations and languages.

We are now reversing God's judgement. Think about it.

Steve Bell nails it as usual. The police tactics for the G20 were an indication of the thinking of government and police hierarchy at the moment. The issue is not only the death of Ian Tomlinson, which is appalling enough, but the whole approach to protest, which appears to be designed (with the help of media stirring, and let's face it, desperation for things to "kick off" in a newsworthy fashion beforehand) to intimidate protesters and deter them from any action, despite the "free democracy" in which we live and which is always toted by government as their answer to any accusation of authoritarianism. The fact is things will not get any better unless people do make their feelings known, but the more they do, the more the government will clamp down. It's a win win for the nasty face of Nu Labour. I can't believe I was ever relieved at the end of the years of conservative rule - this lot are infinitely worse. The one plus in all this is that we are able to use the surveillance tactics on the police themselves, and as has been shown by this video (obtained by the Guardian), expose their lies (here are witness testimonies) about what really happened to Tomlinson. I'm not optimistic about where we go from here, politically speaking at any rate.

PS This video is maybe closer to the truth of what went on. The crowd are holding raised hands, standing still, chanting "peace not riot". The police are just laying into them...

How do you sum up somebody who has been a massive part of your life without you really realising until they've gone? I remember crying when John Lennon died because he was always my favourite Beatle, and the music was undoubtedly great. But this is something different entirely. I realised today that the reason I never use a pick when I play the guitar was because of John Martyn, although subsequently found out that he actually used to glue one to his thumbnail so as not to waste a finger! Until I heard Glistening Glyndebourne in 1971 on John Peel's show I had not realised the possibilities of the instrument - John changed that, and changed the way I played for good. He was a strange mixture of belligerence - someone who enjoyed a fight, having grown up in the back streets of Glasgow - and warmth, producing the most chilled out music you ever heard. Also a great sense of humour, constantly self deprecating and consequently avoiding ever being remotely slushy. And the tunes! May You Never, Bless the Weather, Solid Air, there were so many. It appears from the tributes on the website, and also Danny Baker's Radio London programme on the day (playing JM, and only JM for 2 hours) that he had an ability to really touch people which many more famous names don't. I have not personally experienced a reaction like this to the death of anyone else; it's strange, a real sense of loss and grief, despite still having the albums. Maybe we underestimate the power of music.
I saw him seven times in concert: at Reading festival in 1973, mid afternoon, don't recall much about that. At Drury Lane in 1975 where the music was fabulous, only matched by the swearing; also Paul Kossoff of Free emerged for the encore, not long before his death. 1982 at Hammersmith Odeon with electric band, very rocky and 80s in feel, with Phil Collins, a good friend of John's, starring on encore drums. 1991 at the Heineken Beer Festival in Brighton, in a tent. We were front of stage but had to move back because the sound was terrible there. Still the electric JM at this stage, thought to be a less inspired period. But 1992 at the Town and Country Club in Kentish Town was one of the best, with Andy Sheppard on sax and a barnstorming version of John Wayne, a song which had to be heard live and loud to be appreciated. 1994 at the Concorde in Brighton was the old John and a guitar version, with all the favourites. Fantastic, despite being sat behind a pillar. He did two sittings that night - the second house passed us on the way out. 2008 in Cambridge was the one I had a feeling he might not make for some reason - very glad he did. The physical change was upsetting, a mountain of a man, in a wheelchair, one leg lost, but the gift remained. The songs from Grace and Danger retain their power despite gentle piss taking from the writer! Wonderful stuff, and the band were great too. He was struggling to keep going I think, finding it hard to maintain the energy, and getting through til bedtime ("Horlicks!!"). What a desperate loss to music - there are too few original and uncompromising artists around these days. As for the music industry they will probably hardly notice.
What was the music like? Early on it was just folk, but before long it became an extraordinary mix of folk, rock, jazz, ambient and whatever else took his fancy - really not possible to pigeonhole, which was what made him unique and unforgettable.

There are two view points of the general drift of world events, which can largely be categorised as the incompetence theory or the conspiracy theory. The vast majority of the populace, largely as a result of their hapless dependence on the mainstream media, continue to think of their governments as largely incompetent. Of course if there were actually a shadowy elite behind the scenes who fund not only the media but also the political parties and the military machine, it would make sense to keep things that way, because otherwise people would sense a deep dislocation at the heart of things - how could a remotely competent government allow the disastrous tide of events we are swamped by in this 21st century, in which man is supposed to have come of age and learnt from history how not to mess up?
So the economic meltdown was not anticipated, nor was 9/11; they crept up when we were not looking - no one can be to blame but those whom it suits us to blame, the bogeymen we have created for just that purpose. The enemy now is banks with no money. This cannot at any cost be allowed, and so the solution is that the perpetrators of the crunch themselves are given all our remaining cash. The conspiracy theorist is also the enemy. He must not be allowed to consider alternative explanations; the perceived reality must be preserved at all costs because the truth will really set the people free; that truth being that the power really rests with the people and not with those who love power, but can only hold onto it by perpetrating the lie. Can the dam be broken? The Truth alone can do it, but the lie holds sway. And the prince of this world is the father of lies.

This is a film about the US lust for war, which was shown on BBC4 as part of the Storyville series. Very enlightening on how the American empire mentality has flourished under the neocons. We in the UK have moved to the preemptive model due to the special relationship; no longer do we wait for a threat, we decide who we want to take out, then fabricate the evidence, and use the media to hoodwink the public into calling for "something to be done". What nobody wants to see, and what the media are not allowed by their masters to reveal, is the false flag model used to engineer these excuses for extending American dominance. It appears that the public support the introduction of the bill for 42 days detention without charge (as they do hanging by the way). I have been listening to the debate in parliament about this and it becomes more and more obvious that the government have absolutely no argument whatsoever to justify this. It is purely to avoid Gordon looking weak. They don't actually give a fig about civil liberties, in fact they have used 9/11 and 7/7 repeatedly over 7 years to increase the power of the state; not just for this government, but whatever nightmare of a government we get next, and next, and next. Do they really think we are taken in by this now? It has gone way beyond a joke, and as some MPs have pointed out, into the realms of oppression. They have already used the RIPA act to spy on people who are trying to get their children into a preferred school, what will they do with this one? Certainly not make us any safer from the terrorists who only exist in their fevered imaginations - or far more likely in their plans to get the people of this country under their control should there be (or rather when they declare that there are) circumstances in which they want or need to clamp down on unrest. This will very probably happen when the US back an Israeli attack on Iran and oil prices double again.

There is now concrete scientific evidence emerging that the three skyscrapers which fell on 9/11 were controlled demolitions. Leaving aside the many arguments surrounding motive and method, the architects and engineers who have been investigating have some solid facts about the pieces of the buildings which were rescued, and also some dust which was sent by local residents in New York. This interview (3 parts) with the very believable and non tin-hatted Richard Gage lays some of it out.
Of course the real problem is the media. As he points out, 90% of the tv/radio/papers is controlled by those with a vested interest in control of oil and prolonged wars, and getting anyone in the mainstream to take a risk on blowing this wide open is a real struggle. Hence the growing grassroots campaign by people like the architects, and we are change, who are taking it onto the streets and confronting those in power. The constant argument from the supporters of the official conspiracy story too, is that someone would have blown the whistle. How pray, when the media are tied up tight as I just said? Who would confess to mass murder anyway, or complicity? And the number of people needed to achieve it would have been frighteningly small - the military has a structure of compartmentalisation which enables each person to carry out orders which are trickled down from above without comprehending what the bigger picture is. This method can be used in any large operation. Add to this the fact that on 9/11 there was a massive exercise simulating terror attacks (vigilant guardian) which would have provided an explanation to the vast majority of those involved of most things which were out of the ordinary, at least until the reality of the situation became clear.

Huxley's foresight

Came across a fascinating talk by Aldous Huxley in which he discusses mind control, both by hypnosis and chemicals. He talks about how 20% of people are easily hypnotised, using techniques such as Hitler used in his speeches, also that Hitler spoke most often at night, when people are tired and more susceptible. I think this was recorded before television was very popular, as he only mentions radio as a powerful tool for any demagogue, who if they persuade 20% of the population of their point of view can gain political control. He also describes 1984 as a novel about control by terrorism. Brave New World was Huxley's novel where drugs were used to achieve similar ends, mainly that people can be made to conform and not cause a problem by thinking for themselves too much.
I think that the possibilities for both these methods have increased tenfold in the 50 years (approx) since this was recorded - it's becoming clear that a large part of our society is held in a form of hypnosis by the various media, and the political messages are being embedded in our brains without us realising it. It is in the mindset produced by the media's unreal view of the world that we can believe that our governments have our best interests at heart because this is what they tell us. The reality is that they are inveterate liars, and we know this really, but we won't act on it until it impacts directly on our day to day lives, by which time it will be too late. Since 9/11 this has increased to the extent that I think we are controlled by terror (or more accurately the threat of it - how many have actually died in terror attacks? Many many fewer than those innocents killed by the wars terror has triggered), and in that sense we have arrived in 1984, only 24 years late.
I feel increasingly that in this climate the message of Jesus increases in its urgency as realistically it is (and always has been) the only real solution and only real hope. And only the Holy Spirit can break the hypnosis; ironically for those who condemn christianity, the only way to be free to think for yourself is to follow Jesus.

Those who insist that 9/11 was a false flag terror event designed to create the circumstances for an invasion of Iraq and subsequent control of middle east oil do not budge from this assessment. The problem now for the Bush administration is that time is running out, and soon we must have a change of government. This means that the threat of "another 9/11" is the only thing that can avert the neocon plans, because the radical changes in the legal rulebook have now ensured that another "event" can hand control, including abandonment of the election process, to the president alone, under the implementation of martial law.
Of course this is simply crazy conspiracy talk, but as the mainstream media would have had to be on board anyway were 9/11 to be the inside job suggested, we will not hear any of this other than on the internet. The theory is that both 9/11 and 7/7 were carried out on the back of terror drills which became real world as they progressed. There is plenty of evidence for this if you want to check it out. The coincidence was even admitted on British TV, twice, on 7/7, by a gent named Peter Power.

MAYDAY ALERT! -- Terror Drills Could Go Live!

The name "false flag" comes from the old pirate's ruse of flying another country's flag during an attack, thereby shifting blame for the attack to a party that had nothing to do with it. Governments use false flag attacks to push their nations into dictatorship or war. As military experts, we fear that national terror drills, scheduled for May 1-8, could be used to camouflage a false flag attack in the United States.

Strategic Signals

Yesterday an American-flagged ship fired on the Iranian Navy, and now Pentagon sources say that they have been ordered to prepare attack plans. Admiral "Fox" Fallon, the Centcom commander who opposed war with Iran, has been ousted in favor of Bush loyalist General David Petraeus, who has spent the last month accusing Iran for our increasing problems with the Iraqi resistance.

Saudi Arabia has been preparing for nuclear fallout from an attack on Iran since last month, when Dick Cheney paid a visit. Israel has just finished its largest-ever domestic war drills. Israel and the Bush administration are insisting that Syria and North Korea are nuclear collaborators. Syria is preparing for the contingency of an Israeli attack. Iran is preparing for the contingency of a US attack. US government insiders speculate that Bush has promised Israel an expanded Middle East war before he leaves office.

The Neo-Cons are pounding their war drums again, according to Dr. James H. Fetzer, the founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, and he believes that nothing would help them spread their imperial war in the Middle East as much as another 9/11.

He has just published "9/11 and the Neo-Con Agenda". The article is a must-read introduction for anyone wanting to understand the origins and aims of the " global war on terror."

Domestic Discord

Inside the US, Bush approval ratings are well below 30%, and approval ratings for the U.S. Congress and mainstream media are even lower. Over three quarters of the American people believe that the country is on the wrong track, and just as many want to end the quicksand war in the Middle East. The economy is crashing as fuel prices are skyrocketing. The Establishment is losing its grip on power. It would take another 9/11 to make the nation forget its domestic woes and resume its lost zeal for the Neo-Con "new American century" of foreign wars and a domestic police state.

In his much-discussed February article, "False Flag Prospects, 2008," Captain Eric H. May documented the disturbing fact that military and police exercises were occurring at the same time as the 9/11 US attacks in 2001 and the 7/7 UK bombings in 2005. In that prescient article, he designated the Pacific Northwest as one of the top three target zones for the next US false flag attack, and the Pacific Northwest will be the target of terror drills May 1-8.

Should a major event occur during the drills, the Bush administration is prepared to implement National Security Presidential Directive (NSPD) 51, which establishes dictatorship "in the event of a man-made or natural catastrophe." It is an extraordinary measure, and the White House has stonewalled Homeland Security Committee members from the House of Representatives who wanted to read it. One of those members, Oregon's Peter DeFazio summed up the feeling of many Americans about NSPD 51 when he said "Maybe the people who think there's a conspiracy out there are right."

Fears that a false flag attack might result in martial law are nourished by last week's militaristic Operation Sudden Impact, reported by Infowars.net writer Steve Watson: "Three States Subjected to Martial Law Sweeps"

National Level Exercise 8-02

NLE 2-08 will involve the very highest levels of Homeland Security and the US Northern Command. Both "Homesec" and "Northcom" were established by the Bush administration in the wake of 9/11 to take control of the nation in the event of another terrorist attack. They will be joined by FEMA in the May 1-8 exercise, which is one of the two largest terror drills scheduled this year.

On Thursday, May 1, the exercise begins in Washington, when an explosion collapses the Alaska Way viaduct in downtown Seattle and damages surrounding buildings. Twenty minutes later, terrorists explode a hijacked tanker ship filled with highly toxic chemicals at the Seattle Ferry Terminal. Deadly gas soon permeates downtown Seattle.

Emergency responders come in waves. Police and firemen, first to arrive, are quickly overwhelmed. The state deploys its 22-member Civil Support Team, a National Guard unit, to assess the damage and coordinate support. Later, 100 soldiers from a chemical battalion based in Yakima arrive to rescue, decontaminate and treat survivors. Finally, 5,000 troops arrive to handle logistics and security.

On Monday, May 5, the scenario shifts to Oregon where VX, the most toxic nerve agent ever synthesized, erupts from the Umatilla Army Depot.

The next day, terrorists blow up a chemical tanker in Ferndale, Washington. The county sheriff requests national support, and a Marine Corps chemical warfare detachment from Ft. Lewis, Washington responds.

According to sources at Northcom, NLE 2-08 will involve "robust play," with "surprise injects" of unanticipated events in which participants are "stretched to the limit" and have "everything thrown at them except the kitchen sink." All of this makes it easier for the exercise to "go live" by having a real catastrophe occur.

As the Pacific Northwest scenario is playing out, Washington, DC will be simulating a catastrophic hurricane as part of the same exercise. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to suggest that this puts Dick Cheney back in the bunker he occupied during 9/11.

Citizens interested in understanding how local, state and national levels of the military can be manipulated into working against us should read "The Real Drill" by Major William B. Fox, about Portland area terror drills last year.

Mission of Conscience

Many American citizens are deeply concerned about police militarization, and about government and media preconditioning of our nation for future terror attacks and martial law. We recommend that they monitor NLE 2-08 closely. Armed with cell phones, cameras and the Internet, they are the single greatest deterrent against false flag terror.

If we, the co-authors of this alert, are in error about anything, then we invite reasonable officials to investigate us and our assertions at the very highest levels. In the past we have too often met with hostility, evasion or deception by officials involved in terror drills. We have been stonewalled when we have requested access to an extended schedule of unclassified military and police terror drills.

We believe that there is a pattern of official retaliation against patriotic service members who ask questions about 9/11 and false flags.

In 2006, Sergeant First Class Donald Buswell, an Army military intelligence NCO, suggested that 9/11 might have been a false flag operation. Within a month the decorated 40-year-old Iraq war veteran suffered a freak pulmonary embolism, which nearly killed him. After he was released from the hospital, his command accused him of disloyalty for his remarks, and subjected him to an extensive military investigation. Ultimately, he was fully exonerated, and the now-retired Buswell has become widely known on the Internet as the "9/11 NCO." Stephen Webster, writing for The Lone Star Iconoclast, gained national attention with his story about Buswell, "Under Fire! U.S. Army Intelligence Analyst Targeted for Suggesting New Independent 9/11 Investigation."

The duty to keep the government honest isn't optional for those of us who have taken an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It has always been difficult, and even dangerous, to serve the American people. We call on all active-duty soldiers, police and first responders to obey their oaths by asking questions that need to be asked, and by thinking twice before blindly carrying out orders that may result in an a false flag attack against their country. We urge leaders of those soldiers, police and first responders to explain that diligence is not disloyalty, and that no one ceases to be a free American citizen by putting on a uniform.

Issuing an alert -- as we are doing now -- is not an instance of "crying wolf," as Bush administration apologists often assert. As military-trained experts, we are convinced that the US 9/11 and UK 7/7 attacks were set up under the camouflage of terror drills. The existence of a wolf is not in question. The wolf of false flag terror has killed our fellow citizens and frightened our country into needless wars. It's our mission of conscience to keep it from striking again.

An Open Letter to the Progressive Left

During this primary season, many advocates for a new investigation into the events surrounding 9/11 have been greeted with a tremendous amount of hostility. The thing is, most of this hostility has not been from “right-wingers,” but mostly from members of the so called progressive left. As registered Democrats, we personally, have been told that we are an “embarrassment to the party,” and called names that we will not repeat. Why has the left shown so much hostility towards advocates of 9/11 truth and justice?

As of January, 2007, the Bush Administration had been caught telling 935 lies. No folks, we didn’t say mistakes, they told 935 LIES. The most audacious lies being the administration’s manipulation of intelligence used to get us into war with Iraq. These lies have, as of today, claimed a total of 3,975 in Iraq alone. The U.S. led occupation in Iraq has also claimed close to 90,000 Iraqi civilian lives. All of this death and destruction has been due bold face lies told by the Bush Administration.

What was just outlined in the paragraph above is not disputed by members of the progressive left or even by their beloved candidates, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL). Why then, after this criminal administration has been caught in 935 lies, some of which have led to close to 100,000 deaths, is this administration given a free pass by the left when it comes to 9/11? While we don’t agree with labeling the ideas advanced by the 9/11 Truth Movement as conspiracy theories, let us, for the sake of the argument discuss the idea of conspiracy theories involving the Bush Administration. Please also remember, a conspiracy is, by definition, “an agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.” Therefore, when the progressive left asserts that the President and his administration knowingly manipulated intelligence in order to lead our nation to war in Iraq, they are advancing what can be defined as a conspiracy theory. Is the left only interested in advancing conspiracy theories that are popular and accepted by the rest of their constituents?

Additionally, the Bush Administration fought very hard to stifle any inquiry into 9/11. If 9/11 was a major government failure, as is maintained by proponents of the official account, then wouldn’t the president and vice president want to know everything about that failure and reprimand or fire those responsible? Instead, we’ve seen two inquiries, one led by the Congress and one by the 9/11 Commission. Both of these inquiries were given limited access to information, and in the case of the 9/11 Commission, led by a White House insider. Even if the official version of events is true, how is this acceptable? Don’t the family members of the victims of 9/11 deserve to have answers as to why their loved ones are no longer with us? Don’t we, as Americans, deserve to know?

In conclusion, we implore the progressive left to support the millions of concerned citizens across the United States who are advocating for an independent inquiry into 9/11. Advocating for a real investigation into 9/11 is not subscribing to conspiracy theories. It’s subscribing to the idea of truth, accountability, and justice. What’s so bad about that? Remember, these people are proven liars, their lies have led to the deaths of thousands of people. Why should 9/11 be treated any differently?

Kucinich, who received less than 2 percent of the vote, says he is suspicious of the results, although he doesn't expect a re-count to change his vote count much. Hillary Rodham Clinton. He also noted the difference between pre-election polls, which indicated Obama would win, and Clinton's triumph by a 39 percent to 37 percent margin."

Banging your head against a brick wall

I often wonder why or how people who seem perfectly intelligent about most aspects of life become completely impenetrable when it comes to (say) creationism, christianity, or 9/11 explanations. I came across this article which begins to explain the way we have been subconsciously trained to think. You can substitute various opposing points of view such as evolution v. creationism, as indeed the author did; it was initially an article about creationism.

How The Media and Establishment Brainwash The Public

There are two broad categories of theories about 911: first, are those who believe the Official Conspiracy Theory about 19 Arab hijackers doing the kamikaze number to paradise taking a lot of unwilling victims with them. This OCT has a lot of "baggage" in terms of unbelievable coincidences, but I won't go into all that now.

Second, are those who think that 911 was an "inside job" - a False flag operation and that the culprits can be known by examination of the data. There are actually several different camps (i.e. different theories) within this latter group, and there are hybrid groups (i.e. hybrid theories), but let us assume there are only two simple groups.

To visualize the two different camps, suppose there is a large field and there is a fence that bisects the field and you are standing at one end of the fence looking down the fence. On the right side of this fence are the Official Conspiracy Theory advocates (the people who make up the "establishment" and are ruled by the politics of the day because that is how they get their funding) and on the left side of this fence are the "911 Was an Inside Job" advocates (the people who disagree with the "establishment" point of view).

You have the choice of siding with the establishment or the renegades.

In some cases this choice could affect your job. For example, if you taught history or science or political science or just about anything in a public high school, and you taught "911 was an Inside Job" in your classroom, you would lose your job. If you are only looking for the benefits, and a promotion, then there is no question as to what theory you will teach. The Official Conspiracy Theory side of the fence has virtually all the benefits.

Suppose you want to know the truth (as best as you are capable of honestly determining as an "open-minded" person) - is the Official Conspiracy Theory correct based on the evidence currently available?

Suppose that you decide to start your decision making journey by talking first with the OCT crowd; because everything you have heard in school is that the OCT has been proven to be true. So you head to the right side of the fence and start talking to an OCT advocate.

Suppose this person tells you all the reasons why 911 happened according to the Official Conspiracy Theory. He might go into "well-understood principles", or claimed "clear observational records" and claims that "that everyone knows what happened", and so on.

After this conversation, you start to walk away, but the person stops you. Then this same OCT advocate starts telling you all of the things that are wrong with the "Inside Job" crowd. He tells you one theory after another of the IJ group, such as their nonsense about the free falling objects, thermate, small holes and missing planes at the Pentagon, and why each theory cannot be true and what a bunch of goons they are.

After this conversation, you now feel that you understand both the OCT's and the IJ's theories of 911. You decide it is not necessary to go to the left side of the fence and talk to a IJ representative because you already think you understand their views and why their views are wrong.

A Common Mistake

If you made such a decision, you would be making a common mistake: you have heard both sides of the issue, but from only one person on one side of the fence. You have really only heard how the people on one side of the fence feel about the issues. But you haven't heard the arguments of the IJ, from an IJ expert, nor have you heard why the IJ advocates think that the OCT's are wrong.

There are actually four categories of the two sides (these are the four things you need to hear to make an informed decision):

1) pro-OCT (from the OCT side),
2) anti-IJ (from the OCT side),
3) pro-IJ (from the IJ side),
4) anti-OCT (from the IJ side).

In other words, from the right side of the fence you have heard the Official Conspiracy theory arguments and also from the right side of the fence you have heard all of the anti-Inside Job arguments. But note that you have not heard the pro-Inside Job arguments, from an Inside Job expert, nor have you heard the anti-Official Conspiracy Theory arguments, from an Inside Job expert.

You have only heard two of the four categories because you have only heard from one person who is on one side of the fence.

Do you really know both sides of the issue?

No you don't! You only know one side of the issue and two of the four categories. Until you go to the left side of the fence and hear about the pro-Inside Job views, from an IJ EXPERT, and you hear the anti-Official Conspiracy Theory, from an IJ Expert, you don't have a basis for making an objective decision.

The Way We Have Been Taught

At this point we need to stop and think for a moment. We have been conditioned all of our lives not to listen to the "renegades." In physics, you hear how wonderful Einstein was, but you are told never to talk to anyone who challenges Einstein (someone like Roland De Witte, for example). In science class you were taught that evolution has been proven to be true, and you have been taught that the creationists are all a bunch of religious nuts.

This same kind of bias has been drilled into you for every conceivable type of issue. You have graduated from school thinking you have all the answers and that there are no open issues that need to be debated. In other words, you think the establishment is all-knowing.

All your life you have been taught not to listen to the people on both sides of the fence. All your life you have been taught by people inside the "establishment" and you have been taught that what the "establishment" teaches is true, and you have been taught what is wrong with the renegades and you have been taught not to listen to them. All your life you have been taught two of the four things you need to make an informed decision. You have been brainwashed.

And now I come along and tell you to listen to the renegades. Why? Because, quite frankly, sometimes the "establishment" is wrong. Actually, it is frequently wrong. There, I said it, sometimes the renegades are right! You will never, never know when the renegades are right unless you talk to one of them with an open-mind!

Unless Congress immediately impeaches Bush and Cheney, a year from now the US could be a dictatorial police state at war with Iran.

Bush has put in place all the necessary measures for dictatorship in the form of "executive orders" that are triggered whenever Bush declares a national emergency. Recent statements by Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff, former Republican senator Rick Santorum and others suggest that Americans might expect a series of staged, or false flag, "terrorist" events in the near future.

Many attentive people believe that the reason the Bush administration will not bow to expert advice and public opinion and begin withdrawing US troops from Iraq is that the administration intends to rescue its unpopular position with false flag operations that can be used to expand the war to Iran.

Too much is going wrong for the Bush administration: the failure of its Middle East wars, Republican senators jumping ship, Turkish troops massed on northern Iraq's border poised for an invasion to deal with Kurds, and a majority of Americans favoring the impeachment of Cheney and a near-majority favoring Bush's impeachment. The Bush administration desperately needs dramatic events to scare the American people and the Congress back in line with the militarist-police state that Bush and Cheney have fostered.

William Norman Grigg recently wrote that the GOP is "praying for a terrorist strike" to save the party from electoral wipeout in 2008.
Chertoff, Cheney, the neocon nazis, and Mossad would have no qualms about saving the bacon for the Republicans, who have enabled Bush to start two unjustified wars, with Iran waiting in the wings to be attacked in a third war.

The Bush administration has tried unsuccessfully to resurrect the terrorist fear factor by infiltrating some blowhard groups and encouraging them to talk about staging "terrorist" events. The talk, encouraged by federal agents, resulted in "terrorist" arrests hyped by the media, but even the captive media was unable to scare people with such transparent sting operations.

If the Bush administration wants to continue its wars in the Middle East and to entrench the "unitary executive" at home, it will have to conduct some false flag operations that will both frighten and anger the American people and make them accept Bush's declaration of "national emergency" and the return of the draft. Alternatively, the administration could simply allow any real terrorist plot to proceed without hindrance.

A series of staged or permitted attacks would be spun by the captive media as a vindication of the neoconsevatives' Islamophobic policy, the intention of which is to destroy all Middle Eastern governments that are not American puppet states. Success would give the US control over oil, but the main purpose is to eliminate any resistance to Israel's complete absorption of Palestine into Greater Israel.

Think about it. If another 9/11-type "security failure" were not in the works, why would Homeland Security czar Chertoff go to the trouble of convincing the Chicago Tribune that Americans have become complacent about terrorist threats and that he has "a gut feeling" that America will soon be hit hard?

Why would Republican warmonger Rick Santorum say on the Hugh Hewitt radio show that "between now and November, a lot of things are going to happen, and I believe that by this time next year, the American public's (sic) going to have a very different view of this war."

Throughout its existence the US government has staged incidents that the government then used in behalf of purposes that it could not otherwise have pursued. According to a number of writers, false flag operations have been routinely used by the Israeli state. During the Czarist era in Russia, the secret police would set off bombs in order to arrest those the secret police regarded as troublesome. Hitler was a dramatic orchestrator of false flag operations. False flag operations are a commonplace tool of governments.

Ask yourself: Would a government that has lied us into two wars and is working to lie us into an attack on Iran shrink from staging "terrorist" attacks in order to remove opposition to its agenda?

Only a diehard minority believes in the honesty and integrity of the Bush-Cheney administration and in the truthfulness of the corporate media.

Hitler, who never achieved majority support in a German election, used the Reichstag fire to fan hysteria and push through the Enabling Act, which made him dictator. Determined tyrants never require majority support in order to overthrow constitutional orders.

The American constitutional system is near to being overthrown. Are coming "terrorist" events of which Chertoff warns and Santorum promises the means for overthrowing our constitutional democracy?
